Life Drawing 25_11_10
Good session tonight. All 5 minute poses, so there’s quite a volume of images. Had fun mashing together different poses to make new odd looking images…
That was the last session for this term, but I’ll be scanning and uploading classic life drawing every Thursday from sketchbooks past! Its going to be ‘fun’ (read: embarrassing) posting up some of the drawings from a few years ago when I was going through… lets call it a ‘phase’ of drawing very silly things. Saw all the activity on twitter today r.e. #demo2010 and #dayx so I popped up to see what the mood of the demonstration was like in Bristol after seeing things had taken a turn for the worse in London.
Everything very peaceful and good natured. Very large police : student ratio…

Cheddar Gorge is a lovely place in the Mendips, full of caves, culture and fine cheese – but I’m buggered if I’m ever going there again after seeing this brute! They’re coming for us all… this is no monkey future, this is kitty reality!

Interesting… I went into tonights session with an agenda in mind – draw the most stupid, silly drawings I could muster. Turns out that going into a session with an agenda doesn’t work! Ended up with some straight, some a bit weird, some I’m happy with and some not… take a look:
