I had epiphany a while back which changed everything. I was at life class, I was bored drawing same model, in the same poses week after week so I thought – sod it! I’ve been drawing for long enough, I’ve nothing to prove – I’ll just draw what the hell I like! …so I did. And I still do.
The are a few things I hold most dear:
Boredom breeds creativity.
There is no such thing as a bad drawing.
Draw what you see, not what you think.
Learn the rules, break the rules, love the rules.
I love these. I’m trying so hard to loosen up my own work, I really admire how you’re letting go.
