So ends another all too brief (half a…) term
Not sure if I’m going to make it to next to term. I’m too deep in to speaker building and a DJ world at the moment so drawing might have to stay on the back burner for a bit :/
Who knows though. Can’t plan much at the moment in this wibbly wobbly world xx

All about the watercolours, innit.
Its been a year and half since the last time I went to Life Class.
Just like riding a bike. Bottom right is my fave.
Watercolours, brush pen and a black Sharpie. As time goes on my flagrant disregard for trying to draw tight pictures grows. And I like it.
Starting to get a ‘little’ bit bored of watercolours already. I’ve got 3 weeks now until the next session so I’m going to have a good hard thunk on what direction to go next. I’m open to suggestions! :D

Firstly – thank you to everyone who voted in the poll in my previous post, its a massive step in the right direction :D
Here are the pics from tonight’s session. Felt very low stress, I was really trying to not worry about doing good drawings and just getting on with it.
I used a mixture of Brush Pen, a black Sharpie and watercolours. I’m using a different brand of paper this time round and its subtly different in texture and feel. More absorbent, less ‘accurate’ but dries much faster.
This will probably be my last 10 week term for a good while as another micro noise human will be joining the family around the start of Autumn xx
Some good failing tonight, really positive. I couldn’t be bothered to paint up some canvasses, so I tried to do a whole background thing. Didn’t work. White is wack, yo.
Lesson learnt is you need to prep that shit! Man.
Smashed it tonight – dead chuffed with these. Haven’t painted at life class for 15 odd years or something daft like that.
Only thing that’s slightly gutting is these took less than an hour a piece, but are so much more alive than the Coldharbour picture I’ve been working on for the last year. Heh ho.
