Little Glitches Sat 9th May 2015

I went to see my mate Sam in Sheffield. He’s played keyboard in the ‘little glitches’ for nearly 15 years. They invited me to watch them practise and I did some painting.

New Spring Term – Life Drawing Thu 30th April 2015

Firstly – thank you to everyone who voted in the poll in my previous post, its a massive step in the right direction :D

Here are the pics from tonight’s session. Felt very low stress, I was really trying to not worry about doing good drawings and just getting on with it.

I used a mixture of Brush Pen, a black Sharpie and watercolours. I’m using a different brand of paper this time round and its subtly different in texture and feel. More absorbent, less ‘accurate’ but dries much faster.

This will probably be my last 10 week term for a good while as another micro noise human will be joining the family around the start of Autumn xx

Had fun a Life Class tonight, really cut loose with the colour. Nice to try techniques that are much freer and more impressionist. No class next week as its half term and I’m away on hols after that, so colour craziness will have to wait for a while for the next explorimentation :D

Life Drawing 17-05-12

Had fun tonight – took a while to get warmed up, but the last 45 mins were an eye opener. First time that I used the same technique as the dry point etchings – blending together multiple poses into one drawing, but this time in colour. Fun times…
